This wildflower bridal shower is perfect for all the brides who are midsummer dreamers. If you need to throw a shower for a bride in your life; I’ve got all the details. This past year seemed like a whirlwind to me. Our daughter got married and this was the first time I experienced the thrill of an entire year of planning wedding events. After we survived THE best part of wedding preparation – wedding dress shopping – it was time to think about throwing our bride an epic bridal shower. We decided on a July shower date since our bride wanted a summer dreamy feel.
One of the main advantages of picking a wildflower-themed bridal shower is that any color combination works. Also, wildflowers keep the mood light and summery with a casual feel.
Flowers:
Flowers, of course, are the most beautiful backdrop for a wildflower feel. You can use a mix of backyard plants and flowers, fresh flowers, and even faux flowers.
Tableware:
Using all the same colored dishware makes the cake and colorful food the star of the show. These risers were perfect for incorporating varying heights and shapes to add visual interest.

Beverage Station:
It’s nice to create a beverage station that is separate from the food table so guests can have more room to self-serve and congregate over a cool beverage.
I found these beautiful bride and groom handmade glasses and used them as a focal point for my beverage station. To make the guest glassware more decorative you can add simple stickers to personalize for your bride-to-be.

A Special Spot For The Bride To Be:
The most important person of the day is, of course, the bride-to-be! Why not create her own beautiful midsummer dream perch to open gifts and take photos with guests? This simple setup was made with a lightweight, movable arch, a sweet little chair, and more real and faux flowers.

Favors and Prizes:
To tie the midsummer wildflower theme make gift bags for guests filled with sprigs of faux flower stems and the contents all related to flowers. Here I used wildflower-themed canvas bags. It’s fun to fill each with a bit of a different mix so each one has its unique flare.
If you want to provide favors; I could not pass up these wildflower soaps from Etsy. They come with a variety of pressed flowers and scents and are individually wrapped and tagged with a personalized touch. These are so beautiful and were a hit with all the guests.
